Improved Spaces is a professional organizing business in Hartford County, Connecticut, known for its compassionate, judgment-free approach. From helping clients prepare for a move to navigating major life transitions or reclaiming overwhelming spaces, the business had built a strong in-person reputation rooted in trust, empathy, and personalized care.

However, its digital presence wasn’t fully supporting business growth. Social media functioned more as “proof of business” than as a strategic marketing tool, and the email list was underutilized as a way to stay connected with potential clients and referral partners. Without a clear strategy or consistent content plan, opportunities for visibility, engagement, and referrals were being missed.

The owner was ready to hand off marketing execution to create consistency and professionalism online, while staying focused on serving clients.

MY APPROACH

During our partnership, I managed Improved Spaces’ content strategy and execution, building a sustainable system that aligned with the brand’s voice and supported long-term visibility:

  • Developed a cohesive visual identity across social platforms to improve consistency, polish, and brand recognition

  • Led monthly content planning and production highlighting before-and-after transformations, organizing education, and trust-building content for both clients and referral partners

  • Implemented a dual email strategy: one stream tailored to realtors with staging and organizing insights, and another for homeowners focused on seasonal organization and re-engagement

  • Supported local visibility by engaging with the online community and strengthening referral relationships

  • Handled content creation, scheduling, posting, and optimization, allowing the business owner to step away from day-to-day marketing tasks

THE IMPACT

Within the first three months of our engagement, Improved Spaces saw significant improvements in digital visibility and engagement:

  • Facebook impressions increased by nearly 2,000%

  • Instagram impressions grew by over 1,200%

  • Facebook followers increased by 7%

  • Google My Business impressions rose by over 40%

  • Increased awareness among both homeowners and professional referral partners, leading to stronger inquiries and long-term visibility
